Showcase

An Action packed story

Under threat of divorce, Danny Quigley, a trooper in the UK's elite Special Forces (SAS), takes his discharge and goes to work in financial services. Struggling to make it work, he hears about the massively successful insurance executive, C. C. Courtney, who has mysteriously disappeared, taking his business secrets with him.

Determined to learn his success formula, Danny embarks on a journey to find him, which takes him to Ireland. There, Courtney tries to help him come to terms with and put aside his violent past using NLP techniques. However, Danny's past as an efficient killing machine catches up with him in the person of a rogue MI5 agent, Colonel Crawford, who wants Danny back for one last mission: to assassinate a leading Northern Ireland politician. Crawford will stop at nothing to accomplish his aims including the abduction of Danny's wife, Fiona, and his eight-year-old daughter, Allison.

On the fatal morning, Danny is sitting with a sniper's rifle, looking through a window at his target while behind him and tied to a chair, is the woman he loves. A team of armed men cover both of them.

It was the word 'alchemy' that caught my attention and prompted me to buy the book. I was hooked within the first few pages. The book took unexpected twists and turns and you never knew what was going to happen next. Fast paced, thrilling and unexpectedly plenty of wise words that gave this book an unexpected additional thought provoking dimension. It was a truly great read and I look forward to the sequal (PS it would also make a great movie:))

I have recently had to visit Romania for work purposes and took Russ's book with me. I couldn't put it down….I now need to find where I can purchase the other books in the series.

I rarely have time to leave reviews anywhere but I enjoyed this book so much that it's worth giving it a thumbs up. It's fast paced. has an interesting philosophical take on things and holds you right till the very end. Would recommend to anyone who likes a good thriller.

You can take the man out of the special forces, but you can't take the special forces out of the man. "The Quigley Alchemy" tells the tale of Danny Quigley, drawn out of retirement and back under the sea of intrigue. With his family on the line, Danny doesn't know who to trust as he tries to find out who is out to kill him and who has what he wants. "The Quigley Alchemy" is a fascinating thriller, well worth reading.

Finally bought the quigley alchemy on my Dell Tablet via Amazon Kindle. Love the action that ignites each page. Danny is my modern day hero as havoc rages all around him. But will he get the girl in the end? Can't wait to find out!
